Baby boy Music video by Beyonce and Sean Paul - Analysing Representaion of Gender

The shot types and angles used to represent Sean- Paul are lots of mid shots and long shot allowing the audience to see his dance moves. the reason for why a video may want to show dance moves is because it wants the audience to repeatedly watch it and learn the dance moves so they can do it.
the shot types and angles used to represent Beyonce are varied suggesting that she is more significant and may be that she is more popular than Sean- Paul. the shots used are lots of extreme close ups, close ups, mid shots, many beauty shots.

Sean- Pauls dress code is a black blazer, a beige/ black t-shirt, jeans, a watch, black shades and a chain which all connotes the more jewellery you have and designer clothes the more successful you look also the more you wear the better. This influences the target audience to wear similar items as they may see him as their role model and like his style and image.
Beyonce's dress code follows the motto less is more, most her clothing's are skimpy and very revealing which appels to the male gender. However this also can apeal to the female audiences as they may look at her and feel like they want to look like her as she is very feminine and sexy.
